Roles and responsibilities:
1. Able to read and understand the Aerospace components Engineering and stage drawings
2. Candidates should have MRO and supply chain activities experience
3. Must have good in Repair and Assembly process planning activities
4. Candidates should have extensive experience in Solumina G8 software
5. Should update applicable Repair Work-Instructions (Operation & Step Level) in SOLUMINA G8 for Engine Manual revision (SPM, CIR, special process) – aircraft engines
6. Review and amend Repair SOLUMINA G8 Process Plans as per Shopfloor feedback or Change Request
7. Review and amend DAT SOLUMINA G8 Process Plans for CLN and NDT Plan
8. Should review first article inspection report (FAI) for the production parts & preplanning documents
9. Candidate must be good in review of manufacturing process inspection sheet
10. Should be good in review of Process failure mode & effect analysis (PFMEA) for all production components
11. Should be able to review engineering and manufacturing change incorporation on process routings
12. Candidate should be good at review of PPAP documents as per customer suggested levels.
13. Should have awareness of aerospace quality requirements
14. Work closely with Customers, Project team and cross-functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
15. Creating and implementing program plans and schedules
16. Communicating and collaborating with Customer & Project team to meet the delivery schedules.
17. Experienced in creation of standard process and procedures to ensure quality deliverables to Customer
18. Candidate should be agile and quickly adopt to customer business needs
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering with at least 4 to 10 years of experience in MRO and Aerospace manufacturing Engineering
2. Should have strong knowledge of Aero-engine components and manufacturing shop floor experience
3. Excellent knowledge and application of GD&T as well as Tolerance stack-up for sub-assemblies & assemblies
4. Should have strong knowledge on quality assurance Repair process planning and Assembly – disassembly procedures
5. Preferred to have certified in Six Sigma, Green or Black belt and Scrum master
6. Should have strong communication skills and exceptional leadership quality
