Conceptualizes, builds, develops, and enhances a client's analytical models. Determines the right modeling techniques to answer the use case, available structured and unstructured data, cost and timing constraints to solve the large and complex business issues and delivers compelling and clear business focused insights.
Works with large scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems, and modeling environments. Embeds AI and analytic models into enhanced large-scale business processes and operational systems by collaborating with Application Developers and Infrastructure Architects.
As a recognized subject matter expert and authority, applies analytics methods and adds value to problem domains.
Influences a client's strategic decisions by using deep industry expertise and deploying innovative AI solutions in the operational systems.
Education And Experience Required
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- OR Master´s Degree in these areas and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Extensive knowledge of data science and data engineering methodologies including but not limited to classical regression, machine learning, deep learning, association rules, sequence analysis, cluster analysis, computer vision and natural language processing.
- Extensive knowledge of Python and expertise with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Experience with large scale training and inference, and machine learning pipelines in production systems.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models, including prompting and finetuning techniques.
- Understanding of software engineering methodologies and design patterns, as well as IT enterprise architectures (containers and container orchestrations solutions, cloud solutions).
- Ability to translate business requirements into mathematical models and data science objectives to achieve measurable business outcomes.
