As a Business Analyst, you will be integral to the development and support of the Integrated Service Delivery Platform (ISDP) and the maintenance of MOM Digital Services (MDS). Your role will involve analyzing business needs, designing user-centric solutions, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring that all solutions align with the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Assess MOM’s requirements, identify challenges, and develop comprehensive business cases.
· Conduct user research to gather insights and map user journeys, identifying pain points and opportunities for system and process improvements.
· Document detailed requirements, evaluate potential solutions, and recommend those that best align with MOM’s objectives.
· Collaborate with vendors to clarify requirements and design solutions that meet MOM’s goals.
· Lead the design of user experiences, create prototypes, and validate them to ensure they meet user needs.
· Guide vendors to ensure that solutions are user-centric and aligned with MOM’s digital transformation goals.
· Review and enhance existing system functionalities to improve user experiences.
· Ensure accurate implementation of technical and business requirements by the outsourced vendor.
· Coordinate day-to-day operations and validate solutions through rigorous testing.
· Oversee QA and testing processes to maintain high standards of quality and functionality.
· Identify and manage key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project scope and objectives.
· Manage conflicts and changes to maintain stakeholder agreement and ensure the smooth deployment of solutions.
· Refine and clarify business needs, define solution scopes, and develop business cases aligned with MOM’s strategic objectives.
· Assess deployed solutions to ensure they meet original business needs and objectives.
Requirements:
· Tertiary education in relevant fields preferred.
· Hands-on experience with at least one full project development lifecycle or project maintenance.
· Experience in user research, service journey mapping, and prototyping.
· Proficiency in using prototyping tools like Figma.
· Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitLab CI.
· Strong background in QA & Testing, including vendor management.
· Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
· Strategic thinking with the ability to understand both broad business needs and specific challenges.
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
· Strong organizational and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer-oriented results.
· Ability to document processes, solutions, and best practices for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
· Consulting or Business Analysis experience, with certifications such as CCBA® or CBAP® being advantageous.
· Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems (e.g., Sitecore) and Search Engine Systems (e.g., Lucidworks Fusion).
· Proficient in using AWS for deploying, managing, and scaling applications.
· Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
· Experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and understanding API authentication methods.
· Familiarity with government processes and cloud-based IT projects.
· Up-to-date knowledge of product trends, best practices, and relevant technologies.
We are looking for multiple Business Analyst to work on various projects. Specific stack and requirements will be made know to the short-listed applicants. Applicants need not to have all the qualifications.
