Job Purpose:
A Storeman is responsible for efficient inventory management, ensuring the right parts and tools are available for repairs, controlling cost, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Core Responsibilities:
- Issues spares
- Update bin cards and monitor spares quantities
- Raise indent for spares
- Monitor monthly PM kits indent
- Maintain store temperature and humidity of store
- Monitor shelf life for all spares
- Work closely with suppliers and contractors on managing DO and PO
- Submit weekly and monthly report to Material Control Officer
- Monitor monthly spending budget given by OIC
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience (Preferably from logistic).
- Proficent in Excel and good with numbers.
- Knowledge in 5S, KAIZEN, and Just-In-Time methodologies.
- Primary/Secondary School/GCE 'O' or 'N' levels, Nitec/Higher Nitec, Diploma, Degree
