Key Responsibilities:
•Work closely with IC design & product development teams to develop a deep understanding of new products’ characteristics and features.
•Architect, design, and implement new sensing features and algorithms that align with products, solutions, or customer requirements. Additionally, develop use models and application demonstrations for sales and marketing promotion.
•Create application notes, white papers, and technical documents to provide information and support to customers.
•Develop evaluation kits and demonstration kits for new sensing products, and conduct testing to evaluate results. Create and maintain documentation.
•Conduct application training for internal teams on new products.
•Provide feedback to the design & development teams by communicating customer needs, issues, and opportunities that can be used in new product development and design.
•Collaborate with IC design and product development teams to plan and conduct system-level evaluations in support of new product development.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, electronics, or related engineering.
•Proficiency in common programming languages (C, C#, Python, etc.) and development platforms (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Wireless-SoC, etc.).
•Experience with tools such as IDEs, in-circuit emulators, and oscilloscopes.
•Strong technical knowledge of optoelectronics devices and sensor applications and experience in optical-related test and characterization, is desirable.
•Experience with machine learning frameworks is a plus.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience with customer support and training.
•Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in R&D/Application/Embedded System/Product Development environment.
