Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers at bar or through beverage runners
- Be well versed in spirits, liquors, and cocktails in terms of the different styles of beverages served and techniques required to craft the beverages
- Be able to comfortably recommend wine, cocktail, or an aperitif to guests
- Accurate recording of drinks ordered and process payment for customers
- Ensure efficiency in daily set-up and closing
- Monitor daily inventory as well as ensure restocking of ingredients
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene standards are met for all glassware, equipment and working area
- Provide excellent customer service to customers, with recommendations and answering of enquiries
- Assist the beverage/restaurant manager in creation of classic and innovative drinks to exceed guests’ expectations
- Maintain well-groomed, clean and professional appearance according to grooming standards
- Able to perform other related duties as required restaurant manager
Requirement
- Good knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Prior experience in bartending operations an added advantage
- Comfortable with numbers
- Good verbal communication skills
- Must be able to commit to split shifts, 5 days per week
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the restaurant operates 7 days a week
