Join the team, where we manage and oversee after-death facilities and services in Singapore. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will be responsible for project oversight, procurement management, and system improvements to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Main Duties:
- Project Oversight: Lead and manage initiatives aimed at improving after-death facilities and services. This includes conceptualizing new projects, developing scopes and objectives, conducting market research, and engaging with industry stakeholders.
- Procurement Management: Plan and oversee all procurement activities. This involves drafting, calling, evaluating, and awarding tenders and quotations, while adhering to government procurement guidelines.
- Coordination and Planning: Work closely with the operations team to define project scopes, establish requirement specifications, plan timelines, and prepare procurement documents.
- System Enhancements: Collaborate with the operations team to gather and analyze user requirements for system upgrades and new digital services. Ensure that system enhancements align with these requirements through coordination with ITD and system vendors, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
- Data Management: Prepare and manage service requests for data patching and extraction.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, procurement, or systems work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyze, conceptualize, and solve problems.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Capable of dealing with complex and ambiguous situations with a proactive and improvement-focused approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset for working with both internal and external stakeholders.
