Job Description
As a Finance Manager, you are in charge of projects-driven financial scope. You will be responsible for providing financial leadership, analysis, and strategic insight to ensure the successful execution and management of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Financial Management: Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for various projects. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
- Strategic Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes for project investments and resource allocation.
- Cost Control: Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to manage and control costs effectively.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, trends, and performance metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met and projects are executed efficiently.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, standards, and internal controls. Support audits and reviews as needed.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy. A professional certification (e.g. CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- At least 5 years in financial management, with a focus on project-based finance or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry or a similar sector is advantageous.
