Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to the management team on various business activities, including contracts, transactions, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the company’s interests.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct meetings to create and monitor a compliance plan, issue compliance reports, and submit necessary change notifications and reports to MAS.
- Review the base capital and financial resource ratios to ensure compliance with MAS regulations and assist in reviewing and submitting quarterly and annual reports.
Qualification :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within the financial services or capital markets industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide expert advice on compliance matters.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with CMS & SFC regulatory activities will be an advantage.
