Job description
(A) Primary Function
1. Responsible for all automation related activities of the product.
2. Responsible for the Maintenance and Repair of production automated machines.
3. Continuous to enhance quality and productivity through automated processes
4. Identify and initiate actions to prevent occurrence and recurrence of product, process, quality systems nonconformities
(B) Duties and Responsibilities
1. Optimise automation parameters and meeting specific cycle time for existing and new products.
2. To provide timely support to ensure efficiency of production machines & equipments are met.
3. To work with respective department on product quality issues.
4. Initiate containment plan and implement effective long term plan on quality related issues
5. Attend to all daily quality and process related issues.
6. Execute process validation for new and existing products with tooling and quality personnel.
7. Participate in the Continuous Process Improvement programme to improve productivity, reduce scrap.
8. Perform internal quality system audit.
9. Train and assess production staff on processes and product where applicable.
10. Attend routine production and quality meetings
11. Execute engineering change notice from customer.
12. Analyze quality data collected periodically and provide recommendation to management for improvement
13. Compliance to all regulatory and in house system requirements especially for medical and automotive customers
14. Perform additional tasks given by the management
Qualifications / Requirements
1. Degree/Diploma in Engineering-related discipline, preferably Mechatronics
2. Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, familiar with FMEA
3. Results-oriented, meticulous and a self-motivated team player
4. Fresh graduation also welcome
