Role:
Safety Officer (WSHO / Construction)
- Singapore Based (Working Location: Changi Navel, Project Office nearby Lavender MRT)
- Project contract based (estimated 27 months until project completion)
- 6 Days work per week (8am to 5pm)
- $5000 to $7000
- Diploma / Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or other relevant subjects. + At least 3 years of experience in WSH field, preferably in construction industry.
- Must be a MOM registered Safety Officer (Registered WSHO), ECO is an additional benefit.
- Able to provide hands-on support to sites as well as ability to take a strategic approach to improving EHS performance.

Job scope
Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments and follow-up actions to maintain high safety standard and compliance to Company’s ISO & OSHAS policies.
Enforce all safety legislation and in-house safety rules and regulations.
Investigate all incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
Update and keep proper safety records, incident reports and statistics.
Lead team in safety audits by MOM and must be able to submit all required documents.
Identify safety hazards and implement a comprehensive site safety management system to manage risks and reduce accidents.
Develop documentation for the Project-Risk assessment, Safe work procedures. Present safety briefings and coordinate WSH programmes
Conduct Internal Safety related training to stakeholders
Manage and lead a team of WSH Coordinators and WSH supervisors.
Organize safety promotion and health campaigns, training courses
Interacting, reporting and providing company representation to all business divisions relating to aspects of EHS affairs, compliance matters, enforcement actions, remedial activities and regulatory affairs.
Interfacing with external professional services, customers, regulators, industry and represent company at public meetings, hearings, and perform public relations duties.
