The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the management of store, ensuring that store KPIs are met and day to day activities are effectively carried out.
What awaits you:
· Takes ownership and accountability for store’s sales profit and wage budgets and adherence to other cost budgets
· Ensure that visual merchandising and store maintenance standards are in accordance with Company guidelines
· Disseminating information pertaining to product updates on the Weekly Bulletin and to staff concerned
· Minimize stocks shrinkage and planning of routine stocktaking exercises
· Proper control of in store cash flow, invoices, purchase orders and till operating procedure
· Assist in the compilation of the daily and weekly sales reports as and when required
· To assist the Store Managers in the control of all standards relating to the store running and enforce strict confidentiality in respect of all company matters.
· Provide appropriate coaching & support to the store team and motivate staff to achieve individual / store targets
· Ensure the store staff are dressed, groomed and presented according to Company standards
· To assist the Store Managers in the execution of any assigned duties and responsibilities
We are excited if you have:
· Diploma/GCE “A”/”O” levels with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a management role
· Excellent leadership qualities, good organizational and people management skills, with high level of drive and integrity
· Confident, energetic, resourceful and self-motivated with a willingness to work alongside with rest of the staff especially on the sales floor
· Able to lead and manage well in a dynamic and multi-task oriented retail environment
· Passionate for the retail business and the people
· Possess good basic written and communication skills
· Digitally inclined
