Learning and Development Consultant Manager

The Gallup Organization (singapore) Pte Ltd

The Gallup Organization (singapore) Pte Ltd company logo

As a manager for our learning and development consultant (LDC) team at Gallup, you’ll help us fulfill our mission of changing the world by managing those who deliver transformational learning experiences to organizations across the globe. Your experience and expertise as a manager, coach, project manager and consultant will pave the way for process and resource management; payroll and budget management; performance management initiatives; and mentoring, developing and people management.

You will also help determine hiring and resourcing needs, select and hire the right talent, inspire and develop your team, build an exceptional workplace culture, and align Gallup’s organizational strategy with business needs. In addition to occasionally leading courses, you’ll manage the LDC team and coach and consult on employee engagement, manager development and CliftonStrengths.

If you have a gift for communicating a compelling mission and vision that motivates employees to excel, join us, and put your greatest strengths to work.

Who we want:

  • People developers who genuinely listen to their team members and who have a passion for helping them set goals, achieve personal and professional success, and produce exceptional work
  • Process leaders who understand client needs and who can take ownership of decision-making, team engagement and coordinating resources for high-stakes clients
  • Effective multitaskers who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and who can prioritize urgent requests, balance competing demands and lead projects to completion
  • Influential consultants who have the poise and confidence to make bold recommendations to leaders — even in the face of resistance
  • Strategic communicators who proactively share information and updates across teams and whose talent for simplifying complex ideas into realistic next steps motivates people to take action
  • Positive influencers who stand up for what is right and project confidence and empowerment to those they lead
  • Engaging partners who form authentic relationships that lead to long-term collaborations across the organization and successful business outcomes
  • Problem solvers who value input from various experiences, seek out information to keep the team on track and voice opinions on the most effective way forward

What you need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in psychology, business administration, organizational development, leadership, education or other behavioral economics field required
  • At least seven years of experience managing projects, people or processes required
  • At least five years of experience in leadership training, recruiting, consulting, human resources, change management, coaching or business development required
  • Ability to work in Gallup’s Singapore office a minimum of three days a week required
  • Professional coaching certification and experience preferred
  • Expertise with diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives is a plus

What we offer:

We create exceptional workplaces, starting with our own. We focus on developing your strengths — what you do right, rather than what you do wrong — and helping you be engaged at work. When you work at Gallup, you’ll benefit from:

  • A strengths-based, engagement-focused and performance-oriented culture
  • The opportunity to work in a flexible and hybrid environment that allows you to work remotely two days per week
  • A global, diverse and inclusive workplace culture that is committed to fostering belonging and wellbeing
  • A collaborative work environment with world-class managers and highly tenured mentors who guide and empower associates based on their unique skills and strengths
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities and purposeful career growth tailored to your unique talents
  • Mission-driven work that changes the lives of people around the world
  • A robust benefits package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, gym membership reimbursement and partial mass transit reimbursement
  • A beautiful office located at the heart of Singapore’s vibrant central business district, offering a dynamic and picturesque environment with Singapore’s iconic skyline at our doorstep

Gallup is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that celebrates, supports and promotes diversity and inclusion. We will consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, disability or gender identity, or any other legally protected basis, in accordance with applicable law.
