What does Learning & Development Associate Do?
The Learning & Development Associate is responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting research related to curriculum development, assessment, and improvement. The incumbent reports to the Research Manager and works in consultation with the Research & Impact team to translate research outputs into L&D content and resources to meet the evolving learners’ needs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that developmental programs align with learning goals, standards, and best practices.
The incumbent will also support the selection and qualification of associate faculty for the delivery of the programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Curriculum Support
- Assist in the review and development of learning materials and curriculum.
- Ensure that learning content aligns with developmental standards and objectives.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of learning and organizational development (OD) efforts.
- Help gather and analyse data to assess curriculum effectiveness.
2) Project Assistance
- Support the coordination of curriculum development projects, including tracking timelines and budgets.
- Assist in managing cross-functional teams, including trainers and subject matter experts.
- Monitor project progress and help ensure that key milestones are achieved.
3) Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with business leaders, educators, and administrators to gather input on learning needs.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with external partners and collaborators.
- Contribute to the development and management of learning platforms and tools.
4) Documentation and Reporting
- ·Maintain organized records of research findings, project details, and outcomes.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure that all learning materials comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Job Experience:
- Some experience in curriculum development, educational research, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of educational standards and curriculum design principles.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and data analysis is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in learning and development trends, educational technology, and e-learning tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Mandarin is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese Culture and Philosophy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- An open-minded approach and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.

- A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., education, psychology, organizational behaviour) is preferred.
- Prior knowledge and experience of learning and development frameworks is preferred.
