Cloud Security Global Security Architects specialize on the products of the Google Cloud Security portfolio, focusing on cloud security such as Cloud Native Application Protection Platform and Secure Enterprise Browsing and zero trust architecture. As a Global Security Solutions Architect, you will understand the full breadth of cloud security offerings and know how to build synergies across the different product lines to bring the best possible solution to our customers.

Job responsibilities
- Participate in regular meetings with Regional Customer Engineers and Sales Specialists collecting information on POVs in flight, agreements won and lost, and technical reasons for those wins/losses.
- Drive strategic opportunities to support the regional team and delivering Executive Briefing Center content to customers on the current and future state of Google Cloud Security Products.
- Support the product advisory boards and help with triage and prioritization of technical agreement blocker and product roadmap features.
- Help with preview program and adoption of newly released features.
- Take responsibility for the technical enablement of Regional Customer Engineers and architects across the Security product line with a focus on Cloud Security products.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience as a pre-sales engineer or in a technical customer-facing/consulting role within a professional services or Systems Engineering team.
- 5 years of experience in Cloud Security, or Security Operations, or other cybersecurity-related function.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Python 3, Terraform, Technical Sales, Technical Architecture and Analysis experience.
- Experience crafting and tailoring a compelling message for a given security audience.
- Experience with multiple Cloud providers or multi-cloud solutions.
- Experience protecting an organization at scale in a cybersecurity capacity.
- Knowledge of Big Data, PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud, and related industry and technical concepts.
