Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly forecasts for import and export shipments.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers, customs brokers, and forwarding agents on daily import and export operations, as well as collaborate with internal teams such as Logistics, Operations, and Purchasing.
- Review import and export documentation, including shipping invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and commercial invoices.
- Liaise with and negotiate rates and solutions with vendors and forwarding agents to secure competitive pricing.
- Monitor shipping schedules from forwarding agents to ensure alignment with shipment schedules, aiming for timely delivery to warehouses and customers.
- Manage and track orders from overseas customers.
- Oversee stock levels, shipment schedules, costs, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Japan HQ, overseas warehouses, and international customers.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints from vendors and customers.
- Supervise, coach, and train logistics team members.
- Achieve targets related to cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Prepare and review monthly KPIs.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google Spreadsheets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in inventory management and logistics planning.
