You don't need to have MICE experience to work with us. We're looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial self-starters with a strong sense of ownership, passion and curiosity, driven by our values of care, ownership, trust, passion and innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of consolidated financial reporting.
- Lead a finance team and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations which include but not limited to financial and management reporting, statutory reporting, taxation reporting, account receivable, account payable, inter-company and internal control matters.
- Ensure financial reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with financial reporting standards and taxation laws.
- Ensure timely submission of consolidated financial reports to shareholder.
- Ensure timely submission and in compliance of lease commitments.
- Responsible for taxation matters including corporate income tax, GST, property tax and handling tax queries from IRAS.
- Responsible for XBRL, statistics preparation and submission.
- Identify and recommend improvements to the accounting and reporting functions and work processes.
- Responsible for compliance with internal control policies and procedures and to review and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Drive and participate in systems enhancements and automation projects.
- Provide guidance and build a cohesive high performance finance team.
- Plan the training and development opportunities for staff to expand both their capacity and capability.
- Other tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor in Accountancy / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- High learning agility, adaptability and perseverance.
- Able to multi-task and work under tight timelines.
- Meticulous, organised and resourceful.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong supervisory and mentorship skills.
- Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana will be advantageous.
