Responsibilities:
Handle full sets of accounts including GST reporting and corporate secretarial tasks
- Responsible for managing costs for the company and to look for ways to improve cost control and financial processes.
- Responsible for financial closing and preparation of quarterly and year-end audit schedules and statutory accounts.
- Ensure proficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day accounting operations, month-end account closing and year-end closing
- Responsible for GST and statistical submissions
- Conduct bank reconciliation
- Liaise with internal departments and internal & external audit
- Review the financial procedures, SOPs, internal controls and business processes
- Ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, GST and tax filing requirement, audits, and procedures.
- Handle annual external audit, providing all the necessary clarifications and support to ensure a quality audit process in a timely fashion
- Manage the Company's cash flow, cash projection and set action plans
- Conduct inventory audits in the various outlets
Financial Analyses and Reporting
- Prepare reports for HQ
- Prepare sales and financial reports and analyses
- Prepare financial audits
- Conduct forecasts including cash flows, payment schedules
- Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR and G/L), including preparation of journal entries, balance sheets, income statements & other reporting schedules
Team Management and Development
- Lead, manage and develop team of executives
Additional Duties
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
• Min 3 years of Accounting experience
• Excellent Finance & Accounts Knowledge and Office management
skills
• Strong knowledge of local laws & legislations
• Good Communication Skill
• Strong Knowledge of Accounting Software (must), E.g. Autocount
• Able to work Independently
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• ACCA or similar qualifications would be advantageous
• Singaporean only, must be able to speak Mandarin
