A Research Associate position is currently available in the College of Business (Nanyang Business School).
Key Responsibilities:
Working and interacting with researchers at IRFRC and GAIP, with emphasis on:
- Develop models and forecasts for pandemic risk, mortality, and morbidity rates in Asian countries.
- Collect data from various public sources.
- Conduct a comprehensive literature survey to underpin the development of risk financing solutions.
- Generate high-quality research articles and industry reports.
- Present research findings effectively to GAIP sponsors and the academic community.
Job Requirements:
- Masters in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Insurance, Statistics, or related fields
- Proven research experience with a track record of publications in top-tier journals in the field
- Relevant insurance/actuarial industry experience and actuarial designations are assets, but not are not mandatory requirements.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly effectiveness in communicating complex concepts to the public
- Attention to detail
