Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
- Note: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays unless otherwise required by the school.
Objective:
To provide comprehensive ICT support and training to enhance the ICT operations at North Spring Primary School. The role involves assisting with ICT projects, managing resources, supporting teaching and learning, and providing administrative support related to ICT.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning:
- Assist in school-initiated ICT projects, providing updates to the Head of Department (HOD) / ICT, and preparing relevant documentation and guidelines.
- Support the implementation of ICT programmes, ensuring adherence to MOE policies and guidelines.
- Assist with ICT inventory and asset management in collaboration with the HOD / ICT and ICT Manager.
- Supervise and coordinate tasks with other ICT Support Personnel and vendors.
- Develop and plan structured ICT training programmes for staff and students.
- Establish and maintain monitoring processes for ICT-related programmes or activities.
Administrative:
- Design, maintain, and update the school website (ISOMER).
- Create posters and collaterals for school events.
- Handle photography and videography needs, including pre and post-production, with AI-related tasks considered advantageous.
- Compile and archive students' ICT works and projects for showcase.
- Conduct online surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of ICT courses and resources.
- Assist the e-Supervisor (e-Sup) in setting up e-Oral and e-Listening Comprehension examinations.
- Provide Audio Visual (AV) support for school events and daily activities.
Support in Teaching and Learning:
- Assist the HOD / ICT and teachers in integrating ICT tools into teaching and learning.
- Promote an e-learning culture and assist with the implementation of e-learning activities.
- Support the integration and effective use of ICT tools in educational activities.
Management of Resources:
- Aid in managing school ICT resources, including equipment replacement, condemnation, and loan management.
- Collaborate with the HOD / ICT and ICT Manager in optimizing Learning Management System (LMS) tools and resources.
Training:
- Plan and conduct baseline ICT training for students.
- Provide training to students on ICT tools and e-learning platforms.
- Assist in training teachers on ICT and AV equipment.
- Review and improve training programmes for both students and teachers.
- Plan, assist, and conduct ICT-related activities during Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) training.
- Prepare and train students for ICT-related competitions (e.g., National Robotic Competition).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Minimum diploma in multimedia, design, computer studies, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 12 months of relevant work experience, preferably in a primary school environment.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Technical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite and Google Office Suite (including Google Classroom).
Experience with Adobe Media editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and AI-related software.
Knowledge of Apple Media editing software (e.g., iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Garageband) and AI-related software.
Competent in design media software (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and AI-related software.
At least 1 year of experience with ISOMER administration.
At least 1 year of experience as a Google Workspace Administrator.
