Description:
Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and translate business challenges into innovation opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive research to identify market trends and scout for emerging technologies aligned to the identified trend.
- Identify and source early and late stage cutting edge technologies on an ongoing basis.
- Carry out technology due diligence and market assessment to identify the best match technology partners to problem statements.
- Build up and maintain the company’s global technology partner network.
- Curate and present research findings in a report and/or as a presentation.
- Engage stakeholders to elicit and refine problem statements and translate them into innovation opportunities.
- Develop processes and workflow to improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the design, content, and execution of thought leadership initiatives and industry engagement activities/events.
Qualifications:
- Degree or post graduate degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines.
- Experience in patent search and analysis.
- Familiarity with Design Thinking, Lean Starup, Business model Canvas, Customer journey Maps, or similar methodologies is a plus.
- Passionate and curious in technology, emerging trends, and innovation.
- Resourceful and analytical.
- Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter and able to collaborate effectively across teams to meet KPIs.
- Attention to details with good organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
