Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all M&E aspects of large-scale construction projects, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Review and approve M&E design and installation plans to ensure they meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Supervise and manage M&E subcontractors and vendors, ensuring their work adheres to project specifications and schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Ensure all M&E installations comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Implement quality control measures to verify that M&E systems are installed correctly and perform as intended.
- Provide technical support and solutions for any M&E-related problems that arise on site.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of M&E work, including design changes, installation reports, and compliance records.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to address M&E-related concerns and ensure their requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Constructions Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7-8 years of relevant experience in M&E management within the civil construction industry, with experience in large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems design, installation, and maintenance.
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing teams and subcontractors.
