Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing and lead in handling BYD Vehicles, New Energy System and related equipment technical and Engineering matters.
- Engineering, pre-sales, aftersales and project support
- Life cycle cost calculation & proposal.
- Assist in technical support, with different departments & HQ BYD.
- Test and inspection requirements before handing over to customer & after-sales.
- Manage integrated logistics support requirements for the stated system such as spares, training, tools/special equipment, manual, catalogue etc.
- Manage their technical and Engineering RAMSS (reliability, availability, maintainability and sustainability and safety). Trend reliability, improve availability, maintainability, sustainability and safety through study, analysis, review etc.
- Diagnostic, resolve and improvement to the system failures and faults that occurred to these systems.
- Point of contact for sub-contractors for these systems.
- Point of contact to authority and HQ BYD. Ensure regulatory compliance. Work closely and keep constant communications with engineering and technology units from Headquarters (HQ) in Shenzhen, China for continuous improvement and enhancement to these systems.
- Monitor, update and improve this system work procedure etc.
- Manage claims and warranty issues for these systems. Deal with distributors and customer on complaints, improvement etc. as might be required.
- Any other duties assigned by immediate superior with respect to these system’s Engineering and related scope of work.
Job Requirements:
1. Degree/Diploma in Engineering with 3 years' work experience.
2. Advantages if have experience in automotive industry and system engineering.
3. Good command in Mandarin and English in order to liaise with China HQ colleague.
