Purpose of the role:
The IT Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of all IT infrastructure, managing local IT staff, and providing technical support to users. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage IT projects and day-to-day operations effectively
Role Description
· Site IT Operations:
o Oversee and manage the IT infrastructure and operations at the site, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
o Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT systems and services.
o Monitor and maintain the health of the IT environment, proactively addressing any issues that may arise.
o Manage local IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, ensuring proper inventory control.
o Managing AV & conference room solutions.
· Technical Support:
o Provide hands-on technical support to local users, resolving IT issues promptly and effectively.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters at the site.
o Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams or external vendors as needed.
· Team Management:
o Lead, mentor, and manage the local IT team, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and resources necessary to perform their duties.
o Develop and maintain a schedule for on-site IT support coverage.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
· Project Management:
o Lead and participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
o Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to align site-specific projects with broader company goals.
o Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure that services are delivered according to agreed-upon terms.
· Security and Compliance:
o Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures at the site.
o Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
o Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
· Business Continuity:
o Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for the site, ensuring that critical IT services can be restored quickly in the event of an outage.
o Coordinate with the broader IT team to ensure alignment with company-wide business continuity plans.

o Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, networking, and security.
o Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
o Excellent leadership and team management skills.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
o Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
o Managing AV & conference room solutions.
o Managing O365 / M365, Microsoft AD / AAD, DNS, DHCP
o Networking Basics – IP addressing, Subnets etc, L2 & L3 switch configuration
o Apple devices management (Mac books, iPad etc.)
o Mobile devices management
