Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Appian Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of Appian BPM (Business Process Management) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, experience with Appian or similar BPM tools, and a proven track record of leading projects from inception through to completion. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases of Appian projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the project team. Facilitate clear communication and manage expectations.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the project team, including Appian developers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals. Provide guidance, resolve issues, and ensure team collaboration.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Project Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the final deliverables meet the required quality standards and fulfill the project objectives.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, Scrum, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years managing Appian or similar BPM projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of BPM principles and hands-on experience with Appian or other BPM platforms.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in managing digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
