AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. Key job responsibilities
- InfraOps metrics representation, communication and driving for improvements from both metrics’ definition and execution.
- Global tooling (SC.os, BOOST B/F, BOOST Decom, etc.) and APJC Kaizen (partnering with APJC OE team)support and voice for APJC infraOps. Including but not limited to feature requests, bug follow up, support for deployment acceleration, support in tests, etc.
- Representing APJC infraOps in global (leadership) meetings and bi-directional communicating with APJC infraOps leadership team.
- Strategically influencing global team on critical initiative/program direction in a positive way on behalf of APJC infraOps.
- Driving and supporting APJC infraOps aligning with and meeting the leadership goals. The communications/programs include but not limited to, and are subject to increase or change: Global EC2 unsellable, global HWEng and infraOps unsellable, decommissioning/migration planning and execution, global power meeting, Global availability, Global WmW strategy, Global seismic new design, DCOSE stretch and adhoc repair campaigns, Global COVID committee, new product introduction program (including BR program), global productivity, smaller cluster business review, etc.
