Job Description

The position will involve computational stress analysis using the finite element method. Research into computational topological optimization will be conducted to obtain structural designs that can be 3D printed to achieve highest structural stiffness with minimal weight.

Qualifications

Applicants should have completed a B.Eng. program in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and be proficient in stress analyses. Experience in finite element analysis and familiarity with the commercial software, ABAQUS, are preferred.
