We are seeking a skilled UX Designer for a 12-month contract to focus on creating a holistic, guiding user experience through our platform. This role will be instrumental in strategizing and implementing user onboarding processes, understanding user pain points, and collaborating with our copywriter to ensure a seamless delivery of the user experience. You will play a key role in enhancing our platform's usability by leveraging Userflow and contributing to an exceptional user journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User Experience Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies for creating a holistic user experience across the platform, focusing on onboarding new users and addressing user pain points.
- Work closely with the copywriter to align the user experience with the platform’s messaging and communication.
- Create a UX guideline for the team
2. Onboarding Process Design:
- Utilize Userflow to design and implement onboarding experiences that guide new users through the platform effectively.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the onboarding process to improve user engagement and retention.
3. User Research & Insight Analysis:
- Conduct research to identify and understand user pain points and behaviors.
- Provide actionable insights and directions to enhance user satisfaction and platform usability.
4. Collaboration & Communication:
- Work in tandem with the product manager, copywriter, and other team members to ensure that the user experience is cohesive and aligned with business objectives.
- Communicate design decisions and strategies effectively to stakeholders and team members.
5. Design Execution:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to illustrate design solutions.
- Ensure that all designs adhere to user-centered design principles and reflect a consistent visual and communication style throughout the product.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a UX Designer, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven experience in user onboarding and using tools like Userflow to design user experiences.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to deliver intuitive user interfaces.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Experience conducting user research, usability tests, and using insights to improve designs.
- Familiarity with mapping customer journeys and identifying areas for improvement.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- A resourceful and adaptable mindset with a drive to achieve results.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Userflow or similar flow builder tools is a plus.
- Understanding of technology systems and prior experience in B2B financial services is a plus.
