- Forge strategic partnerships with local businesses, hotels, and attractions to create attractive tourism packages and services.
- Develop relationships with overseas travel agencies and tour operators expand market reach.
- Engage with cultural and governmental organizations to enhance destination appeal and credibility.
- Work on expanding and diversifying hospitality services and products to cater to different market needs and preferences.
- Negotiate contracts with service providers and partners to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to foster loyalty and gain referrals.
- Develop and execute comprehensive tourism strategies that align with market demands and organizational goals.
- Implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote Singapore in key markets, including digital marketing and traditional advertising.
- To assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by senior management demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.
- Handle unexpected challenges or issues efficiently, ensuring that business operations continue smoothly.
- Actively participate in industry events and trade shows to build a broader network and stay updated on industry trends.
Requirement
- Relevant certifications in tourism, hospitality, or business development.
- Proven experience 3-5 years in business development, sales, or marketing, particularly within the tourism or hospitality industry.
- Specific experience in inbound tourism, including market analysis, client relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong skills in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing partnerships, and negotiating contracts.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns tailored to attract inbound tourists.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee the development and execution of tourism products and services.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including internal teams, local businesses, and international partners.
- Excellent verbal and written in Mandarin to deal with China partners
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed for business development activities and client meetings.
