Our project is with a large Bank and we are seeking an AML Solution Implementation Specialist with a strong IT background in financial services and hands-on experience with Detica Netreveal. If you have the experience send us your updated resume. This is a one year extendable contract.
The role: You will oversee the comprehensive implementation of Detica Netreveal, handling all aspects from module deployment to ongoing system management. You will be responsible for the end-to-end deployment of various modules including Transaction Monitoring, Case Management, Sanctions and Watchlist Screening, Customer Due Diligence, and Risk Scoring. As the primary technical expert, you will guide the system’s configuration, customization, and integration with existing platforms.
- Your role involves collaborating closely with business users and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements, translating them into effective solutions within the Netreveal application. You will handle in-house modifications such as creating and managing WLM lists, performing WLM checks, and developing or implementing AML/CDD scenarios tailored to specific business needs. Additionally, you will develop and execute test plans and cases for both System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that the Netreveal application aligns with all specified requirements and functions as intended.
- As a liaison between vendors, business stakeholders, and internal IT teams, you will manage day-to-day issues and ensure that compliance requirements are consistently met. You will also generate detailed project documentation, including architecture diagrams, user manuals, process flow documents, and release notes. Training end users and providing ongoing support to facilitate the effective use of the Netreveal system will be a key part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will oversee the management of test and production environments, ensuring system stability and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT roles within financial services, with substantial hands-on experience implementing AML solutions, particularly Detica Netreveal. You should possess strong technical expertise in Detica Netreveal, including a deep understanding of AML/CFT modules and functionalities. Proficiency in modifying and customizing the application to meet specific business requirements is essential.
You must demonstrate proven analytical skills, including the ability to gather and document requirements, analyze complex systems, and develop effective solutions.
Experience in managing projects from initiation through to delivery is required, encompassing the creation of test plans, resource management, and milestone achievement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will need to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels and manage vendor relationships. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is preferred, and relevant certifications, such as AML certifications, would be an advantage.
