About Our Client
Our client is in the renewable energy industry with an established and growing presence in the Asia Pacific region. Due to continuing business requirements, they are looking for a Legal Counsel to come onboard as part of the legal team supporting their regional business operations.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Counsel and acting as a key business partner to cross functional business stakeholders, you will provide advice to support the business operations and growth while minimising risk to the organisation. This includes but is not limited to the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts including PPAs, EPC and O&M contracts and matters involving M&A and project financing. You will also support any other corporate matters that arise including employment, data privacy and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
You are law degree qualified with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience with strong experience in corporate and commercial matters. Experience gained in the energy or infrastructure space or prior exposure to transactional matters in M&A or project finance would be advantageous. A hands-on, driven and commercial-minded individual with a desire to learn and grow, you are keen on building a career in the renewable energy industry.
