Warehouse Assistant picks and packs items according to the picking list. He/she needs to check the quality and quantity of items during receiving and sending out (Local, import, export).
He/she needs to ensure all incoming and outgoing items are properly stored and documented. He/she shall maintain proper housekeeping in the warehouse according to the given schedule and task.
He/she shall ensure recycling of used cartons, clearing of rubbish and pallets are done daily at the end of operations. Depending on workload, he/she may be re-designated to different temperature rooms as and when required.
Good receiving
- Handle processes in relation to receiving, retrieving (from inventory), packing and delivering of goods as assigned.
Responsible for the picking accuracy of their respective products according to their allocation (Ante, Chiller, Freezer, Air Con, and Meat Room).
- Picking duties according to the updated picking list
- Picking Procedures and Products separation or protection (Plastic and Boxes)
- Cleanliness of the Room
Warehouse Assistants (Perishables and Retails) are responsible of the above and in addition of the following:
- Extra stock allocation in specified pallets with daily report
- Proper Picking Procedures and Products separation or Protection (Plastic and Boxes) are carried out daily
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area
- Labelling Procedures for Retail are performed in order
Any other duties as and when assigned by Superior.
