Job Description
- Reviewing, drafting and advice on documentations (including and not limited to sale and purchase agreement, lease agreement, financing documents, all contract agreements, memorandums of understanding, letters of offers, non-disclosure agreements, memorandum of understanding etc)
- Provide commercial and legal support and advice to all business units within the company with a particular focus on compliance matters, constitutions, non-disclosure statements, marketing material, commercial contracts and assistance in legal matters
- Manage and work with external legal advisors in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Manage and work with regional business units efficiently
- Able to understand and read Chinese with the ability to converse and handle queries, concerns and request from Mandarin speaking clients in regards with the construction matters.
- You will be maintaining the risk policy, perform risk assessment and management, and update the risk register.
Requirements
- Good law degree from a reputable university with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel with relevant construction law related.
- Knowledge related construction law will be consider.
- Commercially minded with background in private practice, build environment and familiar with construction contracts.
- Pro-active, enthusiastic with excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
