Purpose of the Job:
Account Management and Business Development of key customers especially Japan Energy companies in Singapore and the wider region. Support sales growth, new product sales and system selling by providing dedicated high quality application training and energy audits to different target groups in Singapore, ASEAN and APAC to improve the insulation quality and insulation knowledge in the market.
Support Training Center Manager in delivery of training to grow Customers and Sales.
Description of main tasks
• Key Account Management: Act as Key Account Manager for key customers in Energy sector in APAC, looking for opportunities to increase new business and prospects
• Providing sales support to customers
Giving support to Armacell’s distributors and end users of Armacell materials, by providing sales support materials, samples, technical information and installation information.
• Achieving specification of Armacell products
Getting Armacell materials specified on commercial construction projects by design engineers or product specifiers
• Managing key customer relationships
Expanding the company’s relationship with existing customers and developing business opportunities with new customers
• Key account performance reviews
Conducting regular reviews of key account performance, to investigate areas for service improvement and opportunities for improvement and growth
• Identification of new business opportunities
Identifying opportunities for new products, markets and product improvements to support innovation and business growth
• Building competitor intelligence
Gathering information on competitor activities and strategies to identify opportunities to take their market share, and to better defend Armacell’s market share
• Monitoring of industry changes that may affect sales
Monitoring of changes in laws, construction trends, government standards or actions of industry associations that may affect the use of Armacell materials
• Demand generation of Energy/Industrial segment
To execute demand creation activities in the region by approaching Owners/EPCs and managing the relationship, supporting the technical enquiries, and influencing general/projects specification in favour of Armacell solutions.
• Energy audit services
To promote energy savings and audit to Energy/Industry Majors and execute energy audit and site survey as part of value added services and solution selling initiatives.
• Support customer relationships and development of business opportunities by providing excellent training experience with existing and new customers
• Support specification of Armacell products in commercial construction projects by working closely with design engineers or product specifiers on mock ups and individual insulation solutions as well as energy audits and mock-ups, samples, technical information and installation information
• Conduct trainings and audits, in person and digitally, at job sites, customer facilities and ArmaLive training facility. This can include traveling in the ASEAN region or internationally.
- Plan training and auditing activities
- Work with sales and marketing to develop training strategy and tactics
- Develop training support materials like mockups and presentations
- Develop training videos and how to tutorials
• Collaborate with application trainer team, energy team, acoustic team, PFP team to constantly enlarge and develop the trainings and training materials
Professional Education
A technical degree is an advantage, practical experience is crucial.
Professional Experience
Minimum 10 years in construction industry, with at least 3 years of practical experience in insulation in energy or construction industry. Training experience in installation demonstration. Experience in managing training centre. Experience in promoting Armacell products to customers and managing relationships with Japanese Customers.
Other specific skills/ knowledge
• Knowledge of insulation systems and applications within HVAC industry, Oil & Gas industry and general industries
• Deep installation and insulation knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills and training experience
Language skills
Good written & spoken English. Able to communicate in Japanese.

Able to travel within region & occasional international travel
