Job Description

  • Partner closely with Office of Human Resources and Department Unit Heads in all HR matters
  • Oversee HR processes through employment cycle, organisational change and performance management
  • Manage recruitment, staffing and employment of full-time Executive & Administrative staff and Contingent Workforce
  • Responsible for effective onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Provide efficient HR operation support to the departments and ensure compliance to HR policies and provide advice in accordance with the University's policies and procedures
  • Assist in implementation of new policies and benefit programmes, and HR work process improvements
  • Ensure changes to HR policies and procedures are administered and communicated timely to staff
  • Work with vendor on taxation and immigration matters to support and build employee global mobility processes
  • Support learning & development activities
  • Management reporting on key HR metrics
  • Support any adhoc duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience as a HR Practitioner, with at least 3 year of Managerial experiences in similar capacity. Those from Education sector or with relevant experience in in-house global mobility will have added advantage
  • Able to multi-task, work independently, prioritise workloads effectively and hands-on in performing duties
  • Meticulous, high integrity, adaptive to changes and strong in processes
  • Good knowledge of Singapore employment legislations and HR practices
  • Competent in MS Office Applications such as Macros and VBA
  • Able to work well with internal and external stakeholders
