Our client, a leading machine and tooling company, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to join their Asia Pacific team. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Prepare and deliver the monthly management reporting pack with precision and timeliness to the Group.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and closely monitor the financial performance of legal entities across the APAC region to ensure alignment with budgeted and forecasted KPIs.
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for the APAC region, consolidating critical data for management review.
- Serve as the point of contact for reporting instructions, ensuring clear communication with legal entities across the region.
Business Process Improvement:
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial analysis and reporting processes by identifying and implementing innovative improvements.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools to generate actionable financial insights for senior management and business units.
- Provide technical support and guidance to entity finance teams, enhancing their Excel templates and methodologies for faster and more accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with finance teams on key initiatives driven by the APAC region or Group, including the SBU Transformation project
What You Bring:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional accounting qualification (CPA preferred).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in MNCs or audit firms; experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Strong expertise in managing regional management reporting cycles.
- A solid foundation in financial analysis, with an advantage in production cost analysis.
- Advanced technical Excel skills (e.g., Power Pivot, XLOOKUP, FILTER, dynamic array formulas); experience with PowerBI is a bonus.
- Working knowledge of Cognos, TM1, Microsoft D365 (and/or other ERP systems) is advantageous.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to proactively identify gaps, drive changes, and continually improve.
- A growth mindset, always eager to learn and improve both yourself and others.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
