Job Description
The position takes overall responsibility for project management for all aspects (contract, commercial and technical) of the projects assigned. The position works closely with the sales and service department so as to complete and achieve the projects’ objectives/ metrics as planned.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and monitoring the project progress to meet contractual requirements and timely delivery of committed work scope within the agreed schedule.
- To provide engineering support to the project team and customers, including fieldwork when required.
- Coordinate with the respective parties including main contractor, sub-contractor, and suppliers for timely planning, scheduling & delivery, and installation of systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as the production, design, and installation department for the planning and scheduling of the system production.
- Coordinate with Accounts department information required on progress claims, payment response, and reports.
- Conduct meetings with clients, external consultants, and internal stakeholders from various disciplines, and record meeting minutes.
- Prepare timely claims to clients and verify claims submitted by sub-contractors.
- Follow up and report on the project progress.
- Prepare to project final accounts with proper documentation.
- Keep the project-related correspondences and records in an orderly manner.
- Oversee testing and commissioning all equipment with subcontractors after installation.
- Be responsible for customer training after the project is completed.
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or its equivalent
- Min 2 years of related experience Min 2 years of project management experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project. Acrobat & Solidworks are added advantage
- Strong customer management & problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
