Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee product manufacturing campaigns from start to finish, ensuring adherence to quality, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards, and timely release of materials.
- Contribute to achieving the vision of being a best-in-class manufacturing site by producing high-quality products safely and efficiently.
- Utilize the IMEx methodology for daily operations, problem-solving, escalations, and continuous improvements.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot process control systems, operating instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Investigate, report, and resolve quality and EHS-related issues during manufacturing and batch record review.
- Implement and monitor preventive measures to address processing issues, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Identify, develop, and implement improvements in processes and equipment, ensuring optimal plant performance.
- Communicate process updates regularly to plant personnel and train process technicians on procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Data Management (ALCOA), and data integrity standards.
- Investigate and report any actions or behaviors that could negatively impact GMP processes or outcomes.
- Own and manage one or more GMP systems or equipment, presenting compliance evidence to internal and external auditors.
- Develop and implement solutions for process improvements and lead project teams to support manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and Technical Services—to drive flawless execution and continuous improvement in production.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering) or Science.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or related manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices, and EHS standards.
- Experience in project management, cost control, and process optimization.
- Strong technical, management, and organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coach junior engineers and manage complex operational issues.
