Responsibilities:
- Prepare size calculations, schematic diagram design, P&ID diagram, and layout plans
- Follow up on P&ID including quantification of Pipe line number in P&ID,Technical Specification as well as MTO, in standardising with material code
- Ensure engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, specifications, procedures, etc., produced within piping disciplines
- Prepare Isometric spool/ assembly drawings, piping instrumentation diagram (P&ID) and other engineering data using engineering common network, software and tools
- Work closely with Process, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument disciplines, and Quantity Surveyor
- Coordinate with site team, subcontractors and consultants on technical issues and design solutions in meeting project deliverables
- Participate in project meeting, attends to basic technical queries and issues related to piping design and reviews the deliverables
- Develop and maintain all piping specifications, standards, guides and other related engineering documents and processes
- Generate detailed calculations, analysis and solutions for mechanical design
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirement:
- Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines
- 2 – 3 Years of related work experience on piping and material knowledge based on ASME code
- Experience in the interpretation of piping diagrams, spool drawings and its elements to deliver class approved documents and drawings.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A responsible, self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Plan 3D & Inverter Software will have an added advantage
