Job Description:
The Senior Accounts Executive will serve as the primary liaison between clients and the Company, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of accounting deliverables. This role requires a strong leader who can guide the team, review financial documents, and ensure compliance with local statutory and GST requirements. The ideal candidate will be proactive, independent, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact between clients and the Company, addressing client requests and queries promptly. Lead the team to ensure the timely preparation of accounting deliverables, including financial statements, management reports, and GST filings. Review supporting financial documents such as invoices and bank statements provided by clients, as well as accounting entries posted by clients or associates. Review financial information and management accounts prepared by associates and submit them for senior consultant or BO manager's review. Ensure clients comply with local statutory and GST requirements. Provide guidance and advice to clients on accounting and GST matters, escalating issues to the manager when necessary. Act as an effective coach and leader to fellow team members. Assist the BO manager in monitoring the Company's accounts receivables. Ensure the timely processing and sending of invoices upon the completion of engagements.
Qualifications:
· Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA equivalent, or LCCI
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with commercial financial reporting and analysis.
· Minimum 1.5 years in a team lead role.
· Experience in a professional firm providing outsourced accounting services or an audit firm.
