We are seeking a highly effective Engineering Manager to lead our KYC tech team. The candidature of interest would be someone possessing robust managerial skills, great interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise efficiently with other departments, especially Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management and Legal. While not a requirement, prior experience and understanding of KYC and regulatory compliance would be viewable with considerable favor.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and manage the team and ensure effective team collaboration and smooth engineering operations.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from conceptual development to deployment while maintaining a positive and progressive culture.
- Translate the organization's objectives into unit goals and ensure they are executed efficiently.
- Exhibit an excellent ability to think from the big picture, followed by a seamless transition to getting into the details of strategic plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and maintain transparency with diverse functional areas, particularly with Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management and Legal departments.
- Knowledge of KYC and regulatory compliance norms will be an added advantage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computers Science, Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience of at least 8-10 years preferably in a leadership role in the technology or engineering sector.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in managing large teams.
- Excellent communication, strategic planning, and operational management skills.
- Understanding or experience with KYC and regulatory compliance is desirable but not required.
