The Human Resource Executive will run the daily operations of the Human Resource function for Bethesda Frankel Estate Church (BFEC), working closely with the BFEC Dy Chairman and Elder, HR Consultant, Operations Manager and the kindergarten Principal. Work scope includes:
1. Recruitment of staff
- Update job descriptions, put up job ads, screen resumes, schedule interviews, conduct background checks, work with hiring manager on the appointment terms, prepare employment contract, manage offer / acceptance of appointment,
2. Onboarding process - brief newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations, arrange for office / system access, equipment etc
3. Employee records - maintain and update HR databases
4. Work with payroll vendor to administer pay matters
5. Administer benefits and leave
6. Organise and co-ordinate staff welfare programmes
7. Support the annual performance appraisal and salary review exercise
8. Support the training and development activities
9. Enforce and update policies, practices and documentations
10. Update / draft templates for HR documents
11. Track and follow up on the renewal of work passes and employment contracts
12. Apply and monitor claims from government authorities, eg, maternity leave, child care leave, NS leave etc
13. Collaborate with authorities to provide information on staff matters eg, MOM labour survey
14. Off boarding process - facilitate the activities for staff leaving service, update staff records
15. Participate in weekly staff meetings, prayer and devotion sessions
16. Any other duties as assigned
