A new and exciting Business Project Manager position for a large financial services company in Singapore. Looking for someone with in compliance and data.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership & Execution:
o Lead and manage end-to-end business projects focused on change management, compliance, and data governance.
o Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
o Develop and maintain project plans, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, while ensuring timely delivery.
2. Change Management:
o Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and compliance measures.
o Coordinate communication plans to engage and inform stakeholders across the organization.
o Monitor and report on the effectiveness of change management activities, making adjustments as needed.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Alignment:
o Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
o Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to assess potential regulatory impacts and develop appropriate responses.
o Lead initiatives to integrate regulatory compliance into business operations and processes.
4. Data Management & Governance:
o Oversee data management projects to ensure compliance with data governance policies and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
o Work with data teams to implement robust data management frameworks, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
o Drive initiatives for data security and privacy compliance across the organization.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
o Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business units, ensuring alignment with project goals.
o Conduct stakeholder assessments and manage relationships to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.
6. Risk Management & Mitigation:
o Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize business impact.
o Establish mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
o Ensure that any compliance-related risks are escalated to senior management with recommended solutions.
7. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within change management and compliance frameworks.
o Stay up to date with the latest trends in regulatory compliance, data governance, and change management methodologies.
o Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among project teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Prosci) is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on change management, compliance, and data governance.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale business projects and driving successful change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS) and experience in managing data-related compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
