- To plan and implement the curriculum under the guidance of the Principal to ensure a well-run, purposeful, engaging and child-centred programme responsive to children’s needs and aligned to the principles spelt out in the standard ECCE Framework.
- Create a learner-centred environment where children can explore, experiment and interact to learn.
- Participate actively in assessing the needs of the children.
- Work with and support the Principal and other staff at the Centre in enhancing the quality of children’s educational experience.
- Contribute one’s talents and professional expertise towards the centre’s initiatives, educational programmes and projects.
- Establish good relationships with parents as partners in care and education.
- Create a safe learning environment and to provide the best possible care to children and under their charge.
- Handling in evaluations for the week and new lesson plan for the following week on a weekly basis on every Friday.
- Collation of all evaluations and lesson plan from all classes to submit to Vice Principal for PG & NI and to Principal for N2 to K2.
- E-Portfolio will need to be prepared with photos of the children in Little Lives. Vice-Principal to vet PG & N1.
- Keep abreast of the latest educational development and to continually upgrade one’s skill and knowledge.
- Be involved in simple action research projects.
- Role Model Professionalism in appearance, speech and action.
- Attending courses/ seminars/ training recommended by the Centre and fulfilled at least 20 hours of CPD hours recommended by ECDA.
- Assisting with any other administrative matters assigned by the Principals as and when required.
- Lesson Observation will be done twice a year.
- E newsletter will need to be prepared place in Gdrive on a termly basis
- Discharging of event in-charge and duties assigned to the best capabilities.
- Check on theme board and classroom Management for every class every term.
- To generate Little Lives report every end month.
- Check on Lessons Plan files every month.
- To check the check in and check out and temperature daily. Ensure that all child is being checked.
- Update and check on enrolment database. Ensure everything is updated.
- To collate and vet on lesson plans and evaluations for playgroup and Nursery One.
- To conduct meeting with staffs at your own centre every 2nd week of the month.
- To do school tour for new parents who is interested to enrol their child in the centre.
