As a Drafter for Events Venue at KIN, you will play a pivotal role in creating extraordinary event spaces for some of the world’s most prestigious sports events. Your work will bring to life high-profile events such as the World Table Tennis Smash, World Rugby HSBC Sevens Series, FIBA 3x3 Intercontinental Cup, Tour de France Criterium, Olympic Esports Week, and other iconic sporting events. You will be responsible for crafting innovative and detailed venue layouts from initial concepts through to final execution, ensuring each event space is meticulously designed and flawlessly executed.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop precise floor plans, seating arrangements, and event layouts using drafting software.
- Ensure that designs align with client specifications and venue requirements.
- Create and implement effective lighting plans that enhance the event ambience.
- Collaborate with lighting technicians to ensure the setup meets the event’s needs.
- Work closely with venue managers to understand and utilize space effectively.
- Adapt event plans to fit the unique features and constraints of each venue.
- Produce clear and accurate technical drawings for event components like stages and booths.
- Ensure all schematics are detailed and easy to understand.
- Engage with event planners, designers, and vendors to integrate all aspects of the event.
- Maintain clear communication to ensure alignment with drafted plans.
- Ensure all drafts comply with safety regulations and accessibility standards. Address any potential issues proactively.
- Adjust drafts based on feedback and evolving event needs. Provide updated plans promptly to reflect any changes.
- Keep organized records of all drafts, plans, and related documents for easy access and future reference.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Event Management, or a related field
preferred.
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency in event venue drafting, with knowledge of lighting
design principles and AV system integration
· Proficient in drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)
· Meticulous approach to drafting and design.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
· Skilled in identifying and addressing challenges in event design and execution.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
