Job Description:
- Participate in sensory evaluation sessions for validation of raw materials and finished flavours.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of commercially winning flavours.
- Interact with Flavour laboratory including Creation, Application, QC and Customer Sales Request and provide sensory support when needed.
- Set priorities and prepare technical correspondence when required.
- Management and interpretation of projects/briefs assigned.
- Manage all internal aspects of the projects.
- Develop a common communication platform with the Creation & Application Lab.
- Meet project deadlines.
- Effective flavour repertoire management.
- Effective use and maintenance of computer system to manage Flavour library.
- Identify gaps in the flavour repertoire.
- Market/product familiarity.
- Awareness of needs, trends and consumer preferences in Asia Pacific region.
- Identify interesting flavours from key product launches for creative interpretations.
- Participate in interpretation of consumer test results together with Market Research.
- Maintain and update flavour library by recommending flavour additions/deletions.
- To carry out any additional job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Provide sensory training or presentations for internal staff or customers.
- Sensory data collection and interpretation of statistical analysis. Updated on flavour latest technology.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry or Food Science related or equivalent in years of similar experiences
- Basic knowledge of sensory evaluation & flavor chemicals
- Good Presentation Skill, team player, independent
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
