CFO
Our client is seeking a professional to serve as a CFO to support the CEO. The role involves oversee the finance team on the operation and providing strategic support to management and budget holders by proactively monitoring financial activities, managing financial reporting specific to the organization, and clearly communicating analysis results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy to align with organisational objectives.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Manage all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions.
- Mitigate financial risks by establishing and maintaining effective internal controls and risk management systems.
- Ensure precise and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and GAAP standards.
- Optimize capital structure and allocation to foster business growth and profitability.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and partnerships to maximise shareholder value.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial investments.
- Conduct financial analysis, track performance metrics, and analyse KPIs to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure that financial regulations, laws, and internal policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Assess and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/CPA qualifications are preferred.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- (Preferably 5 years in a VP of Finance or CFO role)
- Background in a manufacturing environment (such as FPC, PCB, or PCBA) are highly preferred.
- Managing Group Finance and accounting for Singapore, China and Malaysia
