- Reports to the Project Director
- Lead a team of design engineers/ subcontractors/ drafters to ensure a smooth work flow
- Review, discuss and find solutions to problems related to structural design matters with Client(LTA) / Authorities / Design consultant / Subcontractors
- Prepare and submit design deliverables to LTA
- Provide advice to the construction team and highlight potential design risks to all stakeholders
Job requirements:
- Master in Civil Engineering, major in Structural engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in Civil Design & Construction; inclusive of design in vehicular structures and road projects of similar scale & complexity to our project is mandatory for this position
- At least 5 years in a design managerial role for MNC A1 Construction firm is essential
- Technical expertise and knowledge in bridges, concrete structures and viaduct design is essential for this position
- Skillful with all stages of the development cycle for Design and Build projects.
- Proficient in various FEM analysis software application (MIDAS, RM, etc.)
- Strong background in project management and good interpersonal skills
