A) Tax Governance, Risk Management & Compliance
Policy Development
· Set up and governance of FrieslandCampina’s relevant tax models in the various countries which it operates in, managing and working with business in the development of relevant corporate tax structures and tax audit defense strategies, to ensure that the tax position of FrieslandCampina is continuously in compliance with current legislations and to mitigate tax risks accordingly.
Policy Execution
· To manage the tax positions of FrieslandCampina various legal entities in compliance with legislation and corporate guidelines (Tax Strategy and Tax Policies).
· Managing the preparation, maintenance and implementation of the relevant tax structures in line with local / global tax and transfer pricing regulations and to optimize the impact on bottom-line cost price and revenues.
Tax Compliance
· Ensure timely review and approval of the relevant tax returns and related tax reports for the legal entities
B) Tax Planning
Projects / Ad-Hoc queries
· Subject matter expert lead in projects to provide tax perspective to ensure holistic assessments of options including but not limited to M&A, new business ventures, etc.
· Support the International Tax Director in collating and reviewing internal and external information requests necessary to support the tax strategy of the FrieslandCampina Group
Transfer pricing
· Work closely with Transfer Pricing in Netherlands to ensure compliance with local Transfer Pricing requirements and compliance with the group Transfer Pricing policy.
Tax audits
· Managing tax audits in various countries including leading the local tax / finance teams in securing the appropriate tax position for the legal entities.
Tax incentives
· Leading the execution to ensure maximization of the incentives / subsidies
· Management of related tax audits in execution of incentives / subsides
A) Tax accounting
· Providing guidance to local tax / finance teams in the completion of the tax reports and relevant tax positions
· Analyze tax accounting impact and interpret the necessary to relevant stakeholders including local management teams
Requirements:
· Academic degree in accounting, tax law or tax economics;
· Experienced in (international) business environment with at least 10 years’ working experience (out of which at least 4 to 5 years were spent in a Big 4 accounting firm);
· Well-developed international tax technical and practical knowledge;
· Knowledge of transfer pricing principals and transfer pricing environment/regulations;
· Hands-on, independent, able to multi-task and prioritize;
