JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Accountable for the clients' needs and purposes of construction.
- Advise the clients on project execution.
- Arrange contracts between clients and builders.
- Preparing detailed drawings showing both the appearance and interior structure of a building.
- Produce CAD drawings, renderings, layouts and colour boards for specific design.
- Analyse, identify and resolve issues on related project.
- Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required.
- Research and develop design and product solutions and presents them for consideration.
- Design and coordinate with all internal and external sources on related projects.
- Monitor project progress and use technical manuals to ensure compliance with required codes and standards.
- Oversee any construction problems that may have arisen
- Attend meeting and liaise with clients/consultants/contractors on related project.
- Manage all communication with supervisor on departmental resources.
- Coordinate with engineers to create design that works.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT:
- Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Experience in commercial buildings, shophouses, hotel, service apartment
- Extensive knowledge of BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop etc.
- Knowledge of Authorities' requirements and overall project process
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, Technical and problem-solving skills.
- At least 5 years’ experience
